RAD started out back in 1997 and quickly earned a reputation as one of the leading providers of Enterprise Resource Planning software solutions and implementation services in Scotland.
One of the main reasons we have been able to see such substantial growth and success, is our ability to understand and analyse the needs and requirements of our corporate clients and produce a highly specific configured solution to support their goals and objectives.
A lot can change in 20 years, but the one thing that has remained is our dedication to ensuring that the customer is our main priority. The company-wide “quality over quantity” ethos has only grown stronger as more and more like-minded individuals join the RAD workforce and continue to build on what has been established and taught since day one.
Over the years, as our skills and expertise continue to grow and expand, we have been able to partner with companies such as Ivanti to provide and deliver IT Service Management and IT Asset Management solutions, as well as Qlik to implement Business Intelligence software to further aid our customer base in streamlining their operational growth and efficiency.
Having just reached our 20th Anniversary as a business, we took some time to reflect on some of the important changes that we have gone through since our inaugural year in the industry.
“Customer Service is something we all expect, and usually, take for granted when we are on the receiving end, no matter what the situation. Customer satisfaction cannot be dependent on one customer, on one representative or on the mood of the moment, it has to be an ideal that everyone strives to abide by; an ethos inherent throughout the company. It is the personal obligation of every member of staff when interacting with customers, to maintain our level of commitment to them, in the knowledge that we will always put their customers first” – AJ Cunningham, Managing Director.
Perhaps the largest adjustment for us was gearing up for a completely new partnership with Texas-based ERP giant Epicor Software Corporation, after ending our previous agreement with EXEL computer systems.
The main reasoning behind the decision to proceed in a different direction was that we were discovering from our prospects and customers, in both pre-sales and post-sale situations, that the product was fundamentally unable to provide the required fit of functionality that would allow our consultants to overcome the growth challenges our customers were having on a day to day basis.
Fast-forward 4 years, and we are now the only accredited Epicor ERP “Gold Partner” in Scotland and have already seen a great deal of success, both in business won and customer satisfaction as a direct result of the increase in capability that our consultancy team have with the Epicor ERP product.
The key to our successful relationship with our partner companies is all down to a shared and common goal of helping our target industries thrive in the moment, and for the long-term future ahead.
