2001, 2002 and 2003 - Deloitte Technology Fast 50
The Deloitte Fast 50 are an objective ranking and a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing high-technology companies. The awards identify the trends that are shaping the technology, media and telecommunications sectors today. The Fast 50 Awards were started in San Jose, the centre of Silicon Valley, California in 1995 and quickly became the growth benchmark of success in the USA. They have now expanded world wide to incorporate nine countries and regions, including the UK, France, Germany, Central Europe, the Netherlands, Asia-Pacific, Israel, and Australia. Plus 19 individual programmes in the USA alone.
The Technology Fast 50 Awards are unique in championing the cause of growing technology companies and they are the only technology awards with regional, national, as well as international, relevance.
RAD Software were listed on the Fast 50 for Scotland in 2001, 2002 and 2003 respectively and this was against the background of recession in our core markets after the Year 2000. Once again, we are the only software company in our sector that has been expanding over the last three years, as most of our competitors have been shrinking and unfortunately in a lot of cases disappearing altogether. We have also experienced the loss of many of our traditional target companies in this global downturn but have still been able to buck the trend.
