EFACS

EFACS is a powerful, flexible and scaleable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system used by many manufacturing and assembly companies to control key business functions. EFACS improves a companys business processes, including manufacturing and the management of supply chains, customer relationships, finances, services and project management.

Such a two-way flow of ideas led to the creation of RAD’s proprietary Radio Inventory Bridge [RADRIB]. This increasingly important module extends the EFACS functionality into the stock control and dispatch environment through a wireless network, linking associated Microsoft Pocket PC devices.

In effect, RADRIB allows users to automatically validate transactions within EFACS that have been logged through the wireless device. It is therefore ideal for dynamic environments using purchase order reconciliation, goods-in and goods-out, stock relocation, shop floor data collection, stock movements, stock- taking, time & attendance monitoring and assemble deliveries.

Technical Facilities Management

While our customers expect and receive a professionally managed and implemented ERP system, they also gain access to our knowledge base, built up over many years of working across all types of manufacturing companies. Consequently, in many cases, RAD takes on a broader IT support role for these same customers, a role that we manage through our Technical Facilities Management Contract and this is currently offered exclusively to our ERP customers. Kirkintilloch MarinaWe are very pleased to announce that the RAD Team have moved "across the water", into fantastic new purpose built open plan offices at the following address: The Southbank Marina in Kirkintilloch is a new office and leisure development on the banks of the Forth and Clyde canal adjacent to the town centre and enjoys a prime position in Scotland's central belt, centred on a striking 46 berth marina, with stunning views to the Campsie Fells.

Because EFACS is a hugely flexible and scaleable solution, we are able to configure the system to meet specific business process requirements. One such requirement is RADRIB, our proprietary wireless stock control and warehouse management module. RADRIB is now offered to all of our customers as a validated and value added addition to the core system.
